Advanced personnel protective clothing and equipment supplier CLD SAFETY was founded by Carol Smithwick in 2021, based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Carol has over 30 years of experience in the specialized protective clothing industry, gaining her experience at one of the countries largest and most recognized manufacturers of specialized protective clothing.

CLD SAFETY is a level 1 B-BBEE private company which is 100% female owned and offers expertise and knowledge in this sector. 

CLD SAFETY provide protection to fire fighters, the electrical industry and industries exposed to radiant heat and acids.
